A Maintenance Supervisor in Aluminum & Facade Manufacturing oversees the upkeep of specialized production machinery (like CNC machines and extrusion lines) to minimize downtime and ensure factory efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
- Machinery Management: Lead preventive and corrective maintenance for specialized equipment, including CNC machines, double mitre saws, panel saws, and automated PLC-controlled lines.
- Downtime Reduction: Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance during off-peak hours, ensuring high operational efficiency and meeting factory KPIs.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues in fabrication and installation equipment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and guide maintenance technicians, assigning daily tasks and conducting toolbox talks.
- Inventory & Logistics: Manage the spare parts inventory and coordinate with external vendors or original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for specialized repairs.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols, including HSE standards, Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
