Core Responsibilities
- Machinery Maintenance: Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of specialized equipment such as CNC machines, panel saws, edge banders (joinery), or extrusion and cutting machines (aluminum).
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of technicians and mechanics, assigning daily tasks and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Resource Management: Coordinate with production managers to schedule maintenance during off-peak hours to avoid disrupting factory KPIs.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all workshop activities adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues related to fabrication or site installation as they arise.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of supervisory experience within the joinery, aluminum, or fit-out industries in the UAE.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of hydraulics (for heavy machinery) and specific materials (finishes for wood or structural properties of aluminum).
- Administrative Skills: Ability to maintain accurate documentation of maintenance records, reports, and compliance certificates.
- Licensing: A valid UAE driving license is frequently required for site-based coordination.
