What you'll do:
Team noon has some of the fastest, smartest, and hardest-working people we've encountered. With a young, aggressive, and talented team, we're driving major missions forward. In this role, you will:
1. Preventive Maintenance & Operations
- Plan, schedule, and supervise the PPM activities for all HVAC, chiller, freezer, and cold room equipment across multiple dark stores.
- Ensure all preventive maintenance tasks are carried out as per approved schedules, manufacturer guidelines, and food safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections to verify maintenance quality, temperature accuracy, and equipment performance.
- Coordinate emergency breakdown response and ensure timely resolution.
2. Team Supervision
- Lead and manage an in-house team of HVAC and refrigeration technicians.
- Assign daily tasks, monitor work completion, and ensure proper documentation of all maintenance activities.
- Provide technical guidance and training to the team to improve troubleshooting and maintenance efficiency.
- Ensure proper use and upkeep of tools, spare parts, and safety gear.
3. Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate with the PPM Manager for scheduling, material planning, and reporting.
- Ensure all works comply with UAE Civil Defense, Municipality, and Health & Safety requirements.
- Verify calibration and proper functioning of temperature sensors and control panels.
- Maintain records of preventive and corrective maintenance for all assets.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on completed PPM activities, breakdowns, and pending issues.
- Track recurring issues and recommend corrective measures or upgrades.
- Maintain an updated log for all HVAC and cold room equipment across stores.
What you'll need:
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 46 years of experience in maintenance or facilities operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong hands-on experience in HVAC, cold rooms, chillers, and freezers (diagnosis, repair, and PPM).
- Experience in managing multi-site operations such as dark stores, food warehouses, or retail chains.
- Basic knowledge of fire alarm and electrical systems is an advantage.
