Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day mechanical maintenance for woodworking and furniture production machinery
- Maximize machine uptime, reliability, and production continuity
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical failures under real-time production pressure
- Supervise and allocate maintenance technicians based on production priorities
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans for all machinery
- Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, and Factory Management
- Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and root cause analysis
- Ensure spare parts availability and control maintenance consumables
- Enforce safety standards and proper lockout/tagout procedures
- Support machine installations, upgrades, and overhauls as required
Qualifications
- CNC routers & machining centers
- Edge banding machines
- Panel saws, beam saws
- Drilling & boring machines
- Presses (hydraulic / pneumatic)
- Sanding & finishing equipment
- Woodworking production lines in furniture factories
Minimum 8 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a furniture or woodworking factory
