Role Description
The Management Consultant is responsible for advising organizations on strategy, operations, transformation, and performance improvement initiatives. This role helps businesses solve complex problems, optimize processes, reduce costs, and drive growth through data-driven recommendations and execution support.
Key responsibilities typically include:
- Analyzing business operations, financial performance, and organizational challenges
- Developing strategic recommendations to improve growth, efficiency, and profitability
- Leading transformation projects such as digitalization, restructuring, or process redesign
- Conducting market research, benchmarking, and competitive analysis
- Supporting cost optimization, operational excellence, and change management initiatives
- Creating business cases, financial models, and implementation roadmaps
- Facilitating workshops, stakeholder interviews, and executive presentations
- Managing project timelines, deliverables, and client relationships
- Collaborating with cross-functional client teams and internal consulting teams
- Monitoring implementation progress and measuring business impact
Qualifications (Must-have)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field
- 2–10+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, or business analysis
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience working on multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Strong business acumen and ability to interpret data into recommendations
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and in team-based environments
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree from a recognized university
- Experience at firms such as McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, or Big 4 advisory practices
- Background in digital transformation, finance transformation, or operational excellence
- Certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or change management credentials
- Experience in industries such as banking, healthcare, telecom, energy, or technology
- Strong financial modeling and data visualization skills
- International project exposure or multilingual capabilities preferred
