  • This is an 12-month contract role based in Abu Dhabi, with a possibility of extension.
  • Only candidates with relevant industry experience as outlined below will be considered.

Job Purpose

To drive the growth and commercial development of the Business/General Aviation function. The role combines business development, strategic planning, and stakeholder management to expand revenue, strengthen partnerships, and support long-term aviation growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the Business Aviation ecosystem.
  • Build and manage relationships with FBOs, operators, ground handlers, MROs, and aviation service providers.
  • Develop partnership models and commercial agreements that enhance the Operator's market position.

Strategy, Projects & Commercial Planning

  • Support the development and execution of commercial and growth strategies for Business Aviation.
  • Lead or contribute to strategic initiatives, feasibility studies, and service enhancement projects.
  • Prepare business cases and financial justifications for new services, infrastructure, or partnerships.

Account & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage key existing customer accounts to ensure retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and align service delivery with customer needs.
  • Engage with internal departments to ensure coordinated delivery of aviation services.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • MBA, PMP, or relevant professional certification is an advantage.

Experience

  • 810+ years of experience in commercial development, consulting, or strategic project roles (Aviation experience mandatory).

Skills

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with business case development experience.
  • Project management and strategic planning capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to translate market insights into actionable growth initiatives.
