Manager Business Systems

Ready to lead digital products that support the passenger experience at Hamad International Airport

We're looking for a Manager Business Systems who understands what it takes to build, launch and continuously improve customer-facing digital products.

This is not only about managing IT projects. We're looking for someone who can lead software development teams, take ownership of B2C web and mobile products, and ensure those platforms continue performing after launch.

What you will be doing

• Lead a team of software developers and designers.
• Own the delivery of B2C web and mobile products from development through launch, support and continuous improvement.
• Work with business teams to turn customer needs into practical digital solutions.
• Drive Agile ways of working across software delivery.
• Explore how AI-enabled software engineering can improve development speed and quality.
• Manage enterprise applications and business-critical systems.
• Lead major technology programmes and system implementations.
• Manage vendors, service providers and technology partners.
• Take ownership when critical systems experience operational issues.
• Build a strong team through coaching, clear direction and knowledge sharing.

What will make you stand out

We'd particularly like to hear from you if you have:

• 8+ years of relevant technology experience
• Experience leading software development teams
• Strong experience delivering B2C web and/or mobile products
• Experience taking digital products from development and launch into ongoing operations and support
• Strong Agile delivery experience
• Enterprise application or business-critical system support experience
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
• Exposure to AI-enabled software engineering

Experience within aviation, airports, airlines or another 24/7 customer-facing environment would be an advantage.
