Role Summary
The Senior Manager Commercial is responsible for establishing sourcing strategies, leading cross-functional strategic sourcing and managing merchandizing teams. The role holder is responsible for managing and negotiating with suppliers to execute contracts and optimize opportunities. Finally, he/she is in charge of defining and implementing selection of assortment, definition of category profitability, and promotional national calendar.
ROLE PROFILE
- Establish category sourcing strategies, lead cross-functional strategic sourcing and merchandizing teams.
- Manage and negotiate with suppliers to execute contracts and optimize opportunities.
- Manage category suppliers to act as a market intelligence provider regarding categories; anticipate strategic opportunities and keep key stakeholders informed.
- Define country strategic merchandise and assortment through product.
- Ensure online assortment and selection is available and matches the offline assortment and selection to provide a similar customer experience.
- Ensure the implementation of the performance management process.
- Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles.
- Identify training needs and coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of training requirements.
- Provide inputs while developing MAF Retail's corporate policies and relevant procedures, and monitor the implementation.
- Monitor allocated budget to ensure compliance and take corrective measures when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in E- Commerce or Business Administration.
- Master's degree in e-commerce, supply chain is a plus.
- Master's degree in e-commerce, supply chain is a plus.
- E-commerce experience is required
