Job Purpose:
- Enterprise-wide comprehensive limits management across all business lines and portfolios
- Design and implementation of comprehensive limits management framework / mechanism across obligors, facilities, asset classes and other portfolio parameters
- Continued process enhancements and necessary automation along with high level of productivity and efficiency
- Overall supervision of CAD limit control activities while ensuring adherence with Bank's policies and procedures
- Overall staff management in the Limits & Control unit to ensure adherence with agreed SLAs
- Necessary skill enhancement in line with evolving business and regulatory requirements in coordination with talent management department (HCM)
- Continued monitoring and reporting of all aspects pertaining to limit control mechanism to respective functions on related aspects including Operational Risk, Fraud and AML risks, etc.
- Adherence with UAB values of excellence, experience and efficiency
- Efficient and cost-effective operational services in support of the bank's business objectives
Principal Accountabilities:
- Lay out / enhance comprehensive limits management framework across all business lines and portfolios
- Ensure strict adherence to control parameters while ensuring adherence with established TAT
- Ensure alignment with terms and conditions laid down in the respective sanctions / approvals and in compliance with the Bank's credit policy & procedure support
- Ensure high level of performance pertaining to limits management /covenant management /issuance of balance confirmation /reference letter/ CBRB reporting/MIS in line with approval term and conditions on daily basis
- Lead process enhancements in line with business and regulatory developments including related digital transformation and automation initiatives
- Ensure successful implementation of limits and collateral management system
- Lead CAD data migration activities, including validation, reconciliation, and user acceptance testing
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and internal requirements pertaining to Compliance and Risk
- Carry out all external and internal reporting including AECB & CBRB, CCSYS limits, exceptions, etc.
- Instill a performance-oriented culture through necessary trainings, reward and recognition programs
Job Requirements (Qualification/Experience):
- Master's / Bachelor's degree from a recognized international education institute
- 8+ years minimum experience in handing Corporate Limits and Controls functions in CAD division.
- Effective communication skills in English.
