Manager – Data, Analytics & AI

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manager – Data, Analytics & AI to lead the organisation's enterprise data, business intelligence, and AI capabilities. This strategic and hands-on leadership role will oversee the enterprise data platform, executive reporting, operational analytics, and AI governance to drive informed decision-making and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage a secure cloud-based enterprise data platform.
- Develop executive dashboards, KPI reporting, and operational analytics solutions.
- Deliver real-time reporting and insights to support business operations.
- Lead the deployment and governance of enterprise AI solutions, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technologies.
- Drive data governance, security, compliance, retention, and residency requirements.
- Manage relationships with data, analytics, and AI technology vendors.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to support data-driven strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in data, analytics, or AI leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing enterprise data platforms and BI environments.
- Strong track record delivering executive dashboards and analytics solutions using live operational data.
- Experience implementing enterprise AI solutions with governance and risk management controls.
- Deep understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance within highly regulated industries.
- Experience managing third-party technology vendors and service providers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within aerospace, defence, healthcare, government, financial services, or other safety-critical sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Data & AI technologies, including Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- Experience implementing RAG solutions and modern AI frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and enterprise governance models.
