Manager - Data Analytics | MAF Retail | Head Office Egypt
ROLE SUMMARY
The Manager - Data Analytics is responsible for handling the data analysis and database management for the Commercial Excellence team. The role holder is also responsible for the category management deck, and monitoring the planograms updates by country.
ROLE PROFILE
- Stay up to date of new developments within the retail industry.
- Oversee and provide inputs on research to identify market developments and customer needs.
- Support the development of the growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction and oversee its implementation.
- Provide support on devising promotions and strategies to boost in store sales through creative, eyecatching and customer friendly store.
- Consolidate and participate in the development of category study and category roles, propose merchandising solutions to increase sales and profit.
- Review cost effectiveness of concepts tested in pilot stores, and provide inputs for improvement.
- Analyze the performance of the function, and develop new concepts to increase profitability .
- Oversee the identification of innovative concept for product assortment within stores.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Statistics preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in as a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role.
- Expert in SQL, Advanced Excel, other scripting languages with experience in planogram.
- Strong experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Datastudio, etc).
- Demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven recommendations that lead to results.
- Ability to quickly synthesize, distill and draw conclusions on large amounts of disparate data.
