We are currently recruiting for a Manager – eLearning to join our Onboarding Team in Dubai.
Scope
Manager-eLearning oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of eLearning initiatives within the organization. This role involves leading a team of instructional designers, content developers, and eLearning specialists to create engaging online learning experiences. Responsibilities include strategic planning, project management, stakeholder collaboration, and staying current with industry trends and best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality eLearning programs.
Responsibilities
Financial
- Develop a strategic vision and roadmap for eLearning initiatives aligned with organizational goals, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Establish evaluation metrics and methods to measure the effectiveness of eLearning programs, making data-driven decisions to enhance quality and impact.
Customer
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and convert it into engaging and interactive online courses, ensuring content is suitable for different learning styles and audiences.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and training departments, to ensure successful project execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
Process
- Oversee the development of eLearning content, ensuring alignment with instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables for eLearning initiatives, monitoring progress and addressing any issues that arise.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to review course content, functionality, and user experience, addressing compliance issues and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Innovation
- Stay up to date with eLearning technologies, tools, and trends, incorporating them into the organization's eLearning strategy.
- Provide digital and innovative training to support the training cycle for new onboarders, continuously improving the learning experience.
Selection Criteria
- A graduate degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communications or a related field is required. A master's degree or higher in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Candidate with 5-7 of experience in an L&D, training department or a content creation field
- Transguard EPT level 5.
- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within an eLearning, instructional design team or content design team.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends, tools, and best practices in eLearning and instructional design.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and experiment with new delivery methodologies and technologies in adult learning and blended learning environments.
- Experience in conducting quality assurance checks and addressing compliance issues in eLearning content and delivery.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to training and development.
- CIPD certified candidate is preferred.
