We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Manager - Facility Maintenance to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of our facility. You will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, ensuring optimal building conditions, and implementing cost-effective maintenance strategies.
Your Responsibilities
Team Management:
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians
- Assign tasks, prioritize work orders, and monitor performance
- Develop and implement training programs for team members
Facility Maintenance:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities
- Oversee building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the facility maintenance budget
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement them
- Monitor expenses and control costs
Emergency Response:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans
- Coordinate responses to facility emergencies
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
Requirements
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance management and a deep technical proficiency in cold store maintenance and refrigeration system reliability
- Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures
