Job description:
Job Purpose:
The Manager Global Key Accounts is responsible for developing and maintaining the key accounts in Air Cargo's business in accordance with the company's business plan ensuring the growth of existing business and generating new opportunities to increase market share, revenue and profitability.
Job Accountabilities:
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with key customers through keeping them informed of new products and any updates on existing products, aimed at developing and growing long-term contract business.
- Ensure that the premium key accounts are adequately focused to maximize the sales and strengthen the business relationship.
- Ensure projected sales figures are achieved and are compared against periodical benchmark targets.
- Manage the categorization of the market and prioritize clusters or segments in identifying and developing new clients from beneficial segments.
- Lead the delivery of effective sales presentations to customers along with customized solutions to get business deals.
- Develop, update and maintain a database of existing and potential customers through the development and implementation of a customer relationship management system.
- Assist with customers queries, investigate customer complaints and ensure that they are dealt with to the customers satisfaction.
- Manage execution of account agreements / contracts and perform audits of accounts ensuring correct compliance issues.
- Identify opportunities for further sales and new areas for development through Business Intelligence's support of detailed research of the specific industry or market.
- Develop timely and accurate forecasts for assigned key accounts and revise throughout the year to provide accurate information to the management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Marketing or related field.
- Master's degree in business administration, or related fields (Preferred).
- A minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in the same or similar field.
