You've spent 15+ years building and running engineering computing infrastructure. Sovereign or classified cloud deployments with teeth. HPC clusters feeding FEA and CFD workloads. PLM and EDMS platforms serving 50+ engineering users in production.

Networks that work. You know that engineering productivity is directly proportional to infrastructure reliability, and you own that accountability.

We're building a certification-grade aerospace programme. Greenfield. The founding engineering team is assembling now, and infrastructure isn't a support function here—it's the critical path.

Your role: own the engineering computing infrastructure that enables the entire certification programme. Sovereign cloud infrastructure with full data residency compliance. High-performance computing for analysis workloads. PLM/EDMS and MBSE platform hosting. Engineering development environments. Network, backup, DR and business continuity for all engineering data.

First 90 days: Sovereign cloud operational (compute, storage, networking, identity). HPC cluster running engineering analysis jobs. PLM/EDMS deployed and handed to Quality. MBSE server live. All engineering workstations provisioned and networked. DR procedures tested.

By month 12: Zero engineering productivity lost to infrastructure. HPC running at 85%+ utilisation. PLM/EDMS at 99.5%+ availability. New engineers provisioned within 48 hours. DR tested quarterly. Zero data sovereignty violations.

Must have: 15+ years IT infrastructure. 5+ years managing engineering computing in aerospace or equivalent. Sovereign or classified cloud deployment. HPC cluster experience. PLM/EDMS in production. Engineering network architecture.

Preferred: Aerospace certification-grade data handling. MBSE server deployment. Infrastructure-as-code.

Reports to HIT. Two direct reports Day 1. Dubai-based. Greenfield aerospace.
