Job Description

Job Purpose

  • Lead, manage, and maintain the quality controls, assessments, and testing frameworks for ITD's projects and systems, ensuring successful implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement in line with RTA technology governance, quality standards, and sector guidelines. Drive cross-departmental coordination and strategic risk mitigation to uphold the efficiency, usability, and reliability of ITD systems and projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and periodic review of technology quality assurance frameworks and standards across ITD.
  • Support the transition of projects from solutions development to operational support, ensuring consistent adherence to RTA frameworks including AGF, TQA, and IT governance guidelines.

Operations

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all quality assurance and testing activities for technology programs and projects, defining acceptance criteria for transitions and handovers.
  • Manage coordination with internal stakeholders to verify that quality controls are applied effectively throughout project and system lifecycles.
  • Carry out internal quality assessments for usability, language testing, multi- browser/multi-device compatibility, and deferred items from UATs or previous ITQC testing.
  • Evaluate incident management reports, coordinate corrective/preventive actions, and oversee risk assessments to mitigate potential quality or operational failures.

Product/Process Improvement

  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on the quality performance of ITD projects and systems, highlighting trends, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify service improvement opportunities emerging from user feedback, audit findings, and internal quality reviews.
  • Amend QA criteria and assessments periodically to ensure they remain comprehensive, effective, and aligned with evolving operational and organizational needs.

Job Qualifications & Requirements

Education : Bachelor's degree in engineering/ information technology, computer science, quality management, master's degree in quality management or IT management

Experience: 9+ years in case of master's degree (11+ years in case of bachelor's degree)
