Job Purpose:

The Manager - Accounting Management is responsible for leading the financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic objectives, overseeing the implementation of financial strategies that optimize operational efficiency and profitability while mitigating risks.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Facilitate the business leaders in the formulation of business units plans by providing financial expertise and knowledge while considering the specific operational, quality and safety requirements of the aviation/Cargo sector.  
  • Communicate with the process to ensure business unit management fully participates in and take responsibility for the achievement of budget targets. 
  • Facilitate the preparation of the annual business unit budget, multi-year plans and short-term forecasts with emphasis on business needs, cash flow, cost control and unit profitability. 
  • Prepare the summaries of budgets and forecasts for senior management and board review.
  • Prepared the required financials related to new projects, feasibility studies, investment opportunities, joint ventures and other partnerships are supported with financial analysis and modelling of revenue, cost and profit and ensure project risks can be formulated in the financial analysis and reviewed by senior management. 
  • Demonstrate effective cost control by timely and accurate reporting and monitoring of cost variances and KPIs that highlight both the operational and financial drivers of the unit.  
  • Ensure cost control at job level by reporting to unit management the cost of each job or group of similar jobs with identification of unusual variances and areas for improvement. 
  • Support in assessing potential financial and operational risks and work on mitigation strategies. 
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and performance metrics. 
  • Submit that all functions reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet Saudia Cargo's requirements, policies and international standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, Economics or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in the same or similar field.
