About the Role:
KSIADC is seeking a Manager – Aviation Solutions Management who is responsible for leading the operations, development, implementation, and optimization of aviation-related technology solutions, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and alignment with business objectives. This role bridges technical expertise with strategic oversight to enhance aviation services, systems, and customer experience. This position will work closely with the Aviation Solutions Architecture team to design and deliver the Aviation Systems to enhance operational efficiency and passenger experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Aviation Architecture function to understand business analysis outcomes and business requirements, ensuring clarity on business needs before starting development to align solutions effectively.
- Manage and coordinate with pre-approved vendors to ensure delivery of UI / UX needs.
- Engage with relevant teams to collect and consolidate business requirements and related documentation and provide additional support to UI / UX service providers when information is missing to minimize risk of design reworks at later stages.
- Create prototypes for aviation solutions based on business requirements, aiming to deliver a preliminary vision that meets business objectives.
- Supervise the development of designs based on consolidated business requirements and accordingly develop platforms / feature technical specifications based on detailed designs.
- Review identified requirements including but not limited to user experience and user interface and ensure they act as a base for the development of wireframes and proof of concepts.
- Perform tests and simulations on chosen prototypes to assess their capability, validate the intended value proposition, and confirm suitability before proceeding further.
- Implement frameworks and methodologies to design, build, and deploy aviation solutions based on agreed designs, functionality, and features.
- Build aviation applications and solutions that fully meet user requirements, delivering targeted functionality and improving user experiences.
- Conduct initial testing after each development cycle to confirm that developed code, scripts, and designs are functional and aligned with expected outcomes.
- Create and share detailed documentation for aviation solutions to support efficient operations and facilitate issue resolution, enhancing understanding across teams.
- Establish KPIs to measure and assess the quality of developed aviation applications and systems, supporting continuous improvement.
- Conduct sprint-based testing and analyze results to guide subsequent iterations and improve development effectiveness.
- Manage user acceptance testing with relevant stakeholders to validate that solutions meet design specifications and user expectations.
- Ensure developed aviation applications and solutions meet end-user requirements and maintain high-quality standards.
- Monitor the quality of all product components to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance upon deployment.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions to enhance application quality as needed.
- Monitor solutions, address bugs, and resolve technical issues to optimize performance and identify potential areas for improvement.
- Gather user feedback on experiences, preferences, and pain points to identify and define improvement opportunities.
- Introduce new features and improve existing ones to adapt to evolving user needs and technological advancements.
- Maintain version control for application codebases to streamline updates and provide references for previous versions if needed.
- Provide level 2 and 3 support for all developed aviation platforms, applications, and solutions.
- Provide technical support for IT Projects function, when needed, to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with defined goals.
Qualification and Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in managing complex aviation projects or systems.
• Experience working with aviation authorities, regulatory frameworks, and
compliance standards.
• Experience managing operational support agreement for Tier 2 or Tier 3 support.
