World™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi; SeaWorld® Yas Island, Abu Dhabi; The Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Center Yas Island, Abu Dhabi; CLYMB™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi; teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi; Yas Marina; and Yas Bay Waterfront, home to the UAE's largest indoor multi-purpose venue Etihad Arena, amongst others. About the Role
The Manager, PR & Corporate Communications plays a pivotal role in shaping, protecting, and enhancing Miral's corporate reputation through strategic communications, executive profiling, media engagement, stakeholder communications, and compelling storytelling.
Working across Miral and its subsidiaries, the role develops and delivers integrated communications initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, build stakeholder confidence, support strategic business priorities, and reinforce Miral's position as a leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences.
The role brings together corporate communications, public relations, executive communications, messaging & narratives, and stakeholder engagement to ensure consistent, impactful, and authentic storytelling across external audiences. This role requires a highly proactive and industry aware communications professional who can identify opportunities, influence stakeholders, and manage multiple high-profile initiatives within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Corporate Reputation & Strategic Communications
- Support the development and execution of Miral's corporate communications strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, corporate priorities, and long-term growth ambitions.
- Drive integrated communications initiatives that strengthen Miral's corporate reputation and support the positioning of the organization as a leading destination and experience creator.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to translate complex business initiatives into clear, compelling, and audience-focused communications.
- Ensure consistent messaging across corporate, destination, executive, and stakeholder communication platforms.
Media Relations & Corporate Storytelling
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, editorial teams, and industry influencers to strengthen Miral's media presence and reputation.
- Lead the development of high-quality communications materials including press releases, speeches, media briefings, key messages, Q&As, executive talking points, and interview preparation.
- Identify and proactively develop stories that showcase Miral's growth, innovation, people, destinations, partnerships, and impact on tourism and economic development.
- Monitor emerging issues, media trends, and industry developments, identifying opportunities and risks that may impact Miral's reputation.
- Measure and evaluate communications effectiveness through media performance, sentiment analysis, share of voice, and audience engagement metrics.
Executive Communications & Leadership Profiling
- Support with Miral's executive communications and leadership profiling agenda, positioning senior leaders as credible, influential, and purpose-driven ambassadors for the organization.
- Support in developing and executing strategic communications programmes that strengthen executive visibility, thought leadership, stakeholder engagement, and corporate reputation across local, regional, and international audiences.
- Support in the development of executive narratives, speeches, presentations, thought leadership content, social media strategies, and stakeholder communications that articulate Miral's vision, achievements, and future ambitions.
- Support in identifying and deliver opportunities that enhance executive influence, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and elevate Miral's profile as a leading destination and experience creator.
Stakeholder & Government Communications
- Support in the planning and delivery of communications initiatives that strengthen Miral's reputation and engagement with Government stakeholders, strategic partners, industry bodies, and affiliated organizations.
- Serve as a trusted communications partner for stakeholder engagement activities, providing strategic communications counsel, messaging support, and reputational guidance on key business priorities and initiatives.
- Support in developing and executing communication strategies for major corporate announcements, partnerships, destination milestones, executive engagements, and high-profile stakeholder events.
- Support in communications planning for Government engagements, official visits, delegations, and executive forums, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Support issues management and crisis communications activities by developing stakeholder-focused communications strategies that protect and strengthen Miral's reputation.
CSR, Impact Communications
- Lead communications activities related to Miral's corporate social responsibility and community engagement.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop authentic and impactful narratives that showcase Miral's contribution to people, communities, and the wider economy.
- Drive awareness of CSR and Miral Impact Fund achievements across internal and external audiences.
- Support the development of Miral Impact Funa content, and stakeholder communications that reinforce Miral's commitment to responsible growth.
Brand Governance & Communications Excellence
- Support the development, review, and governance of corporate communications materials, including corporate profiles, presentations, fact sheets, executive biographies, messaging frameworks, and communication toolkits.
- Ensure all communications align with Miral's brand standards, corporate positioning, and governance requirements.
- Continuously evaluate communication channels, tools, and approaches to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and audience engagement.
- Champion best practices in corporate communications, storytelling, media engagement, and stakeholder communications across the organization.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree from a leading internationally or regionally recognized university in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 6-8 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, corporate affairs, media relations, executive communications, or reputation management within a leading corporate, tourism, destination, hospitality, government, or agency environment.
- Proven experience developing and executing strategic communications initiatives that strengthen corporate reputation, elevate executive visibility, engage stakeholders, and support business objectives.
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and translate complex business priorities into clear, compelling narratives.
- Strong understanding of media relations, executive communications, stakeholder engagement, government communications, and issues management within a high-profile and dynamic environment.
- Highly proactive, resilient, and commercially minded, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results with limited oversight.
- Full professional fluency in both Arabic and English, written and spoken, is required
