Job Purpose:
To ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance within the logistics cluster. This role focuses on developing and implementing quality management systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards within the logistics industry.
- Plan and conduct internal audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on quality and compliance standards and best practices.
- Identify and assess risks related to quality and compliance and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Prepare and present reports on quality and compliance performance to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with quality and compliance objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality and compliance processes, procedures, and records.
Qualifications
Educational and Technical Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO) is preferred.
Language Skills:
Good English
Years of Experience:
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quality management, compliance, or a related field within the logistics or supply chain industry.
Nature of Experience:
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
