Manager - Quality Assurance

• Independently utilize innovative test methodologies to develop test plans and test strategies
• Mentor a team of 10-12 people
• Conduct effective test reviews and test documents
• Build teams to execute functional, performance, security and scalability testing
• Mentor team to develop specialized testing tools for use in testing our platform
• Mentor and guide team into a full-fledged white box testing team
• Review teams performance for coverage and quality of test suites
• Participate in test suite design and test reviews
• Focus on quality excellence

Skills

• Good understanding of web services and distributed systems
• Should have worked with at least one programming language and have hands on experience with databases.
• Experience with tools and technologies used for automation on web or mobile.
• Proven understanding of gray box and black box testing techniques
• Hands on experience with various REST API, Web and Mobile application testing tools
• Excellent debugging skills, measures and analyses code for quality
• Good communication skills with ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and Business units

Experience and Qualifications

• 10-15 years of proven experience in QA
• B.Tech/M.Tech in computer science, information technology or a related field.
