Drive revenue and venue utilisation by proactively securing corporate, private, customer and internal business through prospecting, pitching, negotiation and conversion to achieve revenue, booking and utilisation targets
Unlock B2B event sales and sponsorship revenue by identifying, pitching and converting strategic sponsorships and corporate partnerships that expand PEC's commercial portfolio, increase venue utilisation and create additional, sustainable revenue streams
Develop and implement an integrated sales and marketing strategy for all PEC business areas, translating business objectives into target segments, value propositions, pricing approaches, channel plans and measurable commercial priorities
Lead PEC marketing and demand generation through brand-aligned marketing and communication activities, and sales assets across digital, social, CRM and offline channels to build awareness, generate qualified leads and drive conversion
Build the PEC event portfolio and customer journey by developing commercial offerings and event calendar and overseeing the end-to-end customer journey from enquiry and quotation through delivery and post-event evaluation
Optimise commercial operations by working closely with internal stakeholders, agencies, vendors and other PECs worldwide to enhance sales and marketing processes, delivery quality, customer experience, operational readiness
Requirements
University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, Hotel Management or a related field
At least 5 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated success in sales, business development and/or marketing, preferably within hospitality, leisure, lifestyle, MICE, luxury, automotive or other premium customer-centric environments
Proven track record in developing and executing commercial sales and marketing strategies that generate leads, convert opportunities to deliver revenue growth
Strong business development and stakeholder management skills, with confidence to prospect, pitch, negotiate and build relationships with corporate and senior decision makers
Excellent project-management skills, able to run multiple suppliers and events simultaneously
Solid marketing capabilities spanning brand positioning, campaign management, digital and social media, CRM, content development and performance optimisation
Highly customer-centric, commercially minded, result-oriented and motivated, with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English essential; Mandarin or another regional ASEAN language a strong advantage
Entrepreneurial, resilient, adaptable, with the flexibility to support event-driven operations, including evenings and weekends
