We are looking for a Senior Manager Financial Reporting to lead financial reporting, consolidation, and audit coordination for our client, a leading semi-government in Dubai. This role requires strong audit exposure, hands-on experience in preparation and review of financial statements, expertise in group consolidation, and the ability to lead teams and manage senior stakeholders. Prior experience within real estate or investment sectors is preferred. The candidate must be a qualified accountant (ACCA/CA).
This is a 6-month renewable contract role in the organization and reports to the Finance Director in the Financial Reporting department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and review of standalone and consolidated financial statements across multiple entities
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage end-to-end group consolidation including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
- Act as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors and manage the full audit lifecycle
- Drive reporting excellence by strengthening controls, improving reporting templates, and enhancing accuracy and transparency
- Lead and develop the financial reporting team, allocate workstreams, and ensure high performance and accountability
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders including FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Investments, and Operations teams
- Provide financial insights and reporting packs to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
- Support cross-functional initiatives including new entity setup, restructuring, or investment transactions
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, regulatory requirements, and internal governance frameworks
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices across reporting and consolidation
Knowledge, skills & experience:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/CA)
- Strong audit background with significant exposure to financial statement preparation and review
- Proven experience in group consolidation within multi-entity structures
- Prior experience in real estate or investment industry preferred
- Strong understanding of IFRS and regulatory reporting requirements
- Demonstrated team management and leadership capability
- Experience managing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
