About the Role :
As a Manager, Stores Management System (SMS) Integration, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration of weapon systems with tactical and multi‑role aircraft. You will be involved across the full lifecycle of platform integration—from early concept and capability definition through prototype development, testing, and operational deployment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Translate operational and mission needs into engineering requirements (TRD, SRD, ICDs) and identify/close interface gaps
- Review and assess interface specifications, drawings, and design documents covering functional, electrical, software, and physical interfaces
- Lead and support Stores Management System (SMS) design and functionality, including architecture, operation, and employment
- Interpret and apply avionics communication protocols such as MIL‑STD‑1760, ARINC‑429, and Ethernet
- Execute system integration within simulation labs, using software and hardware simulators and stimulators
- Support on‑aircraft integration activities involving LRUs, pylons, and racks
- Plan and support ground testing and flight trials
- Perform flight test analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Requirements & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
- 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, mission or weapon integration, or aerospace/defense roles
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience in weapons system development
- Practical experience with military aircraft, weapon systems, and avionics integration
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex technical data and communicate effectively with engineering teams
- Security clearance as per company policy (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Overall 6–8 years of experience in avionics and/or weapons‑related tasks
- Preference for candidates with direct experience in a weapon integration program
