SUMMARY:
To provide strategic, analytical, and execution support to the Supply Chain and Operations function, with a strong focus on demand & supply planning, structured S&OP governance, cross-functional coordination, and project tracking. The role functions as an EA-style execution support role to Supply Chain leadership, ensuring alignment across Commercial, Operations, R&D, Quality, CMOs, and Logistics, particularly for US pharmaceutical markets.
KEY RESULT AREAS
1) Demand & Supply Planning & S&OP Governance
1. Support demand planning for pharmaceutical products, including US market portfolios, considering regulatory, commercial, and supply constraints.
2. Convert approved sales forecasts into structured demand forecasts using historical data, consumption trends, and market intelligence.
3. Drive structured S&OP cycles in close coordination with the Commercial team, Operations, and CMOs to ensure alignment between forecast, capacity, and execution.
4. Monitor supply-demand gaps, identify risks and constraints proactively, and support development of mitigation plans.
2) Order Management & Execution Oversight
1. Oversee end-to-end order management coordination to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders.
2. Monitor order fulfilment status in alignment with Commercial teams and CMOs, ensuring adherence to committed delivery timelines.
3. Track order changes, exceptions, and supply constraints, escalating risks and coordinating resolution across stakeholders.
4. Support service-level monitoring for US market orders and highlight deviations with corrective action plans.
3) Project Management & Cross-Functional Execution
1. Track and manage strategic and ad-hoc supply chain projects, ensuring milestone adherence, cross-functional alignment, and timely closure.
2. Lead structured project management coordination for the Alternate Vendor Program, ensuring disciplined tracking, stakeholder follow-up, and execution governance (without
direct vendor ownership responsibility).
3. Work closely with R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, and CMOs to ensure on-time execution and launch readiness of US pharmaceutical products.
4. Coordinate execution follow-ups with CMOs to ensure production timelines, batch readiness, and supply commitments are met.
5. Maintain structured dashboards, trackers, and leadership updates on key initiatives.
4) Functional & Operational Support
1. Provide data-backed analytical support across supply chain and operations functions to enable informed decision-making.
2. Review demand, supply, inventory, and service performance metrics; highlight risks and recommend corrective actions.
3. Act as a coordination bridge across internal stakeholders to ensure execution discipline and accountability.
4. Support additional projects, initiatives, or tasks as required by evolving business priorities.
