Manager - Systems Admin | MAF Retail | Head Office KSA
Role Summary
The System Administrator is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This role ensures that IT systems run efficiently and securely, supporting the operational needs of the business.
ROLE PROFILE
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Linux) and application software.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file servers, and print services.
- Maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
- Apply OS patches, upgrade systems and software, and perform regular maintenance.
- Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
- Administer enterprise tools like SCCM, WSUS, backup systems, and antivirus.
- Maintain documentation related to systems configurations, procedures, and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 35 years of proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CompTIA Server+, VMware Certified Professional).
