Job Purpose
Provide strategic and operational leadership for foundation and technical diploma programs, ensuring highu2011quality delivery aligned with group companiesu2019 intake demand, competency requirements, and development expectations. Lead academic teams to drive curriculum enhancement, innovation, and trainee success, reporting directly to the Vice President of Academic Services.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage the Technical Department, supervising 3 heads in addition to instructors and academic support teams.
- Drive curriculum enhancement initiatives aligned with group companiesu2019 workforce needs and future skills requirements.
- Promote innovation through the integration of AI, digital technologies, creative thinking, and autonomous learning within programs.
- Strengthen collaboration with group companies, accreditation bodies, and technical/AI solution partners.
- Lead instructor capability development, performance management, and succession planning to strengthen organizational capacity.
Operational & Program Management
- Oversee the design, delivery, review, and continuous improvement of foundation and technical diploma programs in line with approved governance frameworks.
- Establish and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure academic standards, trainee retention targets, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Manage departmental resources, including staffing, budgets, and facilities, to ensure efficient operations and alignment with the academyu2019s breaku2011even strategy.
- Monitor program performance metrics and implement improvement actions to enhance learning outcomes and customer value.
Technical & Industry Leadership
- Maintain current knowledge of ADNOC competency frameworks, siteu2011based technologies, and workforce development requirements.
- Provide expert oversight of technical training content to ensure relevance, accuracy, and alignment with vocational and industry standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and instructional excellence across all technical programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering, Education, Technology, or a related discipline (Masteru2019s preferred).
- Minimum 7u201310 yearsu2019 experience in technical education, vocational training, or applied industrial training, with proven leadership responsibility.
- Strong expertise in program governance, quality assurance, and curriculum development for technical and foundation programs.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing large academic teams, stakeholder engagement, and innovation in training delivery.
- High digital literacy, with exposure to AI-enabled learning and modern training technologies.
