On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.
About The Position
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Surveillance Technical Manager to join the resort's Surveillance team.
Responsibilities
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Oversee, mentor, and develop a team of CCTV technicians and engineers, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
- Ensure all surveillance equipment is functioning optimally and conduct regular inspections and maintenance.
- Support the Executive Director of Technical Operations in administrative tasks and strategic planning.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the surveillance technical team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CCTV and video surveillance systems promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of all surveillance activities, equipment maintenance, and technical issues.
- Provide training and support to technical staff to ensure high standards of performance and compliance with security protocols.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in surveillance technology and recommend upgrades or improvements as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards related to surveillance and security.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Expertise with a wide range of CCTV technologies, network video recorders (NVRs), video management software (VMS), and integrated security solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to diagnose complex technical issues and deliver practical, effective resolutions.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities; experience in coaching and developing technical staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients, employees, and stakeholders.
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant safety and compliance standards.
- Professional certifications in CCTV or security systems (e.g., CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree preferred. High School Diploma required. Technical certifications in electronics or security systems are an asset but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CCTV and security systems installation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Employees must become certified in the Genetec VMS within 6 months of employment.
- Minimum age 21.
