The Role

The Managing Director has full accountability for the performance, culture, and strategic direction of the business unit or regional operation. This is the most senior operational leadership role in the organisation, combining P and L ownership with people leadership, client stewardship, and market development. The successful individual will represent the business externally at the highest levels and be the defining force behind the organisation's reputation and commercial success in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Hold full P and L responsibility for the regional or business unit operation. Lead, inspire, and develop the senior leadership team, creating a performance culture that attracts and retains exceptional talent. Own the most significant client and stakeholder relationships across the region. Set and execute the strategic plan in alignment with the group board. Drive revenue growth through both existing relationships and new market development. Ensure regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions of operation. Report directly to the group board and represent the region in global leadership forums.

The Person

A proven P and L leader with 15 to 20 years of progressive leadership experience, at least five of which at Managing Director, GM, or equivalent level. Significant GCC experience is essential. You will be a compelling external face for the business, a decisive internal leader, and commercially aggressive without compromising on integrity. An existing network across the region at C-suite level is expected.
