dnata Singapore is one of the longest standing and most comprehensive operations in the dnata portfolio. Providing a full suite of services from cargo handling and ground handling to travel services, dnata Singapore ships, connects, feeds and entertains travellers connecting to and through Changi Airport.

The Managing Director leads dnata's ground handling and cargo business, ensuring safe, reliable and customer‑focused operations across all functions. This job sets and executes the national business strategy, drives operational excellence and commercial growth, and ensures full compliance with aviation, safety and regulatory standards. The Managing Director leads the executive management team, shapes the external operating environment, and represents dnata to government, regulators, customers, airport authorities and key partners. The Managing Director carries full accountability for the P&L and long‑term business performance.

In this role you will:

• Lead and execute the country's multi‑year business strategy aligned with dnata's global direction. Oversee integration of all functions (Operations, Cargo, Commercial, HR, Finance, Safety) to achieve strategic objectives with a planning horizon of three years.
• Drive transformation programmes including automation, digitalisation and process optimisation and ensure operational performance meets or exceeds customer SLAs and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, productivity gains and operational efficiency across all service lines.
• Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to all applicable aviation standards, ensuring risk controls, safety systems and reporting are proactively managed.
• Take full P&L accountability for the country's results, while overseeing budgeting, forecasting, performance management and capital planning.
• Strengthen relationships with airline customers, Changi Airport Group, regulators, government authorities, and key industry stakeholders.
• Lead, develop and empower the executive management team, setting clear performance targets and holding leaders accountable for delivery.
• Drive succession planning and capability development for critical roles, leading organisational design and workforce planning to support strategic growth.
• Build strong senior relationships with airline customers, ensuring strategic alignment and performance delivery, representing dnata with airport authorities, regulators, border agencies and industry partners.
• Build an engaged, inclusive and high‑performance culture, role‑modelling dnata's values, demonstrating integrity, safety leadership and service excellence.

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business (or related Field).
• Minimum 10+ years experience of leading a business at c-suite level in logistics, aviation or ground handling industry.
• Experience leading teams in blue-collar and multicultural environment
• Must have proven experience managing full P&L.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to influence senior internal, external stakeholders as well as customers and suppliers.
• Must be able to obtain Airport Pass.
