Managing Director

Role Description The Managing Director (Part-time, Remote) will provide strategic leadership, oversee business operations, and guide the company's long-term growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting organizational goals, reviewing project performance, approving budgets, and monitoring financial health. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with key clients, partners, and vendors, as well as supporting business development and new project acquisition. The Managing Director will collaborate with onsite management to ensure projects align with company standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. Additional responsibilities include risk management, policy development, and mentoring senior team members to strengthen overall organizational capability.

Qualifications

• Strategic leadership and business management skills, including experience defining vision, setting goals, and driving organizational performance.
• Proficiency in financial oversight, such as budgeting, cost control, and reviewing financial reports for informed decision-making.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities, including client relationship building, vendor coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of construction industry practices, project management fundamentals, and basic regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote and onsite teams.
• Prior experience in senior leadership or director-level roles, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or related sectors.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work part-time in a remote capacity while maintaining consistent availability for key meetings and strategic reviews.
