We are seeking an entrepreneurial, strategic, and hands-on Director to lead the strategic direction, operational growth, and day-to-day management of our boutique recruitment firm.

As Director, you will hold ultimate P&L responsibility, drive key business development initiatives, mentor a high-performing team of consultants, and elevate our brand presence in the market. This role is ideal for a seasoned recruitment leader who thrives in a nimble, high-touch environment and wants to shape the future of a specialized firm.

Full oversight of the firm's P&L, annual budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.

Define and optimize operational workflows, technology adoption (ATS/CRM/AI tools), and performance metrics (KPIs) to streamline delivery.

2. Business Development & Key Client Management

Lead high-value client acquisition efforts and originate retainers, contingency mandates, and strategic HR consulting projects.

Maintain direct, trusted-advisor relationships with C-suite executives and HR leadership across target client accounts.

Personally lead and execute top-tier executive search and niche senior-level assignments.

3. Team Development & Leadership

Attract, hire, train, and retain top talent for the internal consulting team.

Provide continuous mentorship, career coaching, and performance management for recruitment consultants and associate directors.

Cultivate a collaborative, high-integrity, and performance-driven workplace culture centered around consultative delivery and quality.

4. Brand Building & Market Authority

Position the firm as a thought leader within our core industry verticals through executive networking, industry events, and strategic PR/content.

Ensure all candidate and client touchpoints reflect high standards of quality, transparency, and personal care.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Industry Experience: 10+ years of progressive recruitment experience (agency/search firm preferred), with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role (Associate Director, Director, or Partner).

Track Record: Proven ability to build and scale a recruitment practice, manage a P&L, and consistently deliver against revenue targets.

Network & Origination: A strong network of executive contacts and a demonstrated history of bringing in new business and growing key accounts.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and scaling teams of recruitment consultants.

Licensing/Compliance: Relevant regional recruitment/employment agency licenses (if applicable to jurisdiction).
