What are we looking for

We're seeking someone with 15+ years experience in healthcare communications, public affairs or corporate affairs, with significant consultancy experience and a strong understanding of the Asia Pacific healthcare landscape.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medtech or broader healthcare ecosystem
• A proven track record advising senior healthcare executives on reputation, stakeholder engagement and strategic communications
• Experience leading regional client relationships and integrated communications programmes
• Strong commercial instincts with a history of winning and growing client partnerships
• Excellent leadership, mentoring and team development skills
• Outstanding writing, presentation and strategic thinking abilities
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex scientific, regulatory and policy issues into compelling communications
• An entrepreneurial mindset and passion for building high-performing teams

Key responsibilities

As Managing Director, you will lead the continued growth and evolution of Sandpiper Health across Asia Pacific.

You will:

• Lead and grow Sandpiper Health's business and strategic direction
• Serve as trusted adviser to senior healthcare leaders across the region
• Develop integrated communications, corporate reputation, public affairs and stakeholder engagement strategies
• Advise clients on high-profile issues, crisis preparedness and reputation management
• Identify emerging healthcare trends and translate them into new opportunities for clients and the business
• Drive new business development and strategic partnerships
• Build and mentor a high-performing team
• Collaborate with colleagues across corporate communications, public affairs, ESG, research and digital to deliver integrated client solutions
• Represent Sandpiper Health externally through industry events, thought leadership and executive engagement
