Role Description
- Approve customers requests to use margin trading according to the standards set by the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) and approved by the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA), then approve the client file for registration on the company's automated system.
- Prepare and send margin trading reports, both internal and external, on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to the Egyptian Stock Exchange, and provide reports to all departments to support decision-making.
- Monitor margin trading clients and their transactions in real time through workstations.
- Provide technical advice and support to all concerned parties, answering technical inquiries and coordinating with all relevant departments.
- Follow and verify methods of calculating interest on clients accounts to avoid errors and ensure compliance with the correct calculation methods approved by senior management.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience:
- 02 years of experience in the same position (Margin and Credit Officer) or similar role within securities firms, brokerage houses.
Knowledge:
- Understanding of margin trading, credit facilities, and brokerage operations.
- Familiarity with Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) rules and Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) regulations.
- Knowledge of interest calculation for margin accounts and client credit management.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with trading platforms, automated brokerage systems, or securities trading software.
Analytical & Reporting Skills:
- Ability to monitor client trades, verify calculations, and prepare accurate reports for internal teams and regulators.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong communication skills to provide technical advice and coordinate with internal departments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced securities firm environment.
