Marine Responsibilities:
- Support the testing and evaluation of vessels fitted with Marine systems in Dubai and surrounding waters.
- Ensure the safety of all personnel onboard and maintain strict adherence to safety protocols at all times.
- Confidently manage close-quarter manoeuvres in busy marina and port environments.
- Operate in compliance with Country Maritime Law, Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) regulations, and local navigation protocols.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must be fluent in English Valid ENG1 or ML5 Medical Certificate, or country-approved seafarer's medical Engineering
- Degree, diploma, or technical certification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
- Minimum 2–3 years of practical engineering experience, ideally in marine, automotive, or aerospace sectors.
Skipper:
Proven experience as a skipper on rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) or tenders of 12m, preferably within country or similar coastal environments.
- RYA Powerboat Advanced (commercially endorsed) – or local DMCA equivalent certificate of competency.
- RYA Yachtmaster Offshore (preferred), commercially endorsed.
- VHF Short Range Certificate (SRC) – required for operations under communication standards.
- STCW Elementary First Aid (or equivalent local certification).
Crew:
Minimum 1 year experience as crew on RIBs or tenders (around 12m).
RYA Powerboat Level 2 (or DMCA-approved equivalent).
