Job Description

Job Title: Market Access Manager Oncology

Department: Commercial

Location: Riyadh, , Saudi Arabia

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Market Access Manager to ensure SAJA's Oncology portfolio achieves optimal pricing, reimbursement, formulary inclusion, and sustainable access across key institutions in Saudi Arabia. The role will manage regulatory, pricing, payer, and tender pathways to enable timely patient access and maximize commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Access Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute integrated Market Access strategies for the oncology portfolio.
  • Translate market insights into short- and long-term access roadmaps.
  • Conduct opportunity/risk assessments across pricing, reimbursement, procurement, and access barriers.
  • Align strategies with Commercial, Medical, Finance, and Executive teams.

Pricing & Reimbursement Leadership

  • Lead pricing strategy, including benchmarking, simulations, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Prepare and submit pricing and reimbursement dossiers compliant with regulations.
  • Monitor price change impacts across lifecycle, tendering, and formulary settings.

Pre-Launch Access & Evidence Readiness

  • Build pre-launch access plans, including pricing scenarios and payer engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs on real-world evidence and economic-value studies.
  • Lead pre-approval access programs as applicable, ensuring compliance.

Tender (NUPCO) & Institutional Access

  • Develop competitive tender strategies to maximize market share and profitability.
  • Lead tender submissions, compliance review, and negotiation planning.
  • Drive formulary listings with MOH clusters, MODA, NGH, KFSH, KFMC, and major oncology centers.

Payer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build high-trust relationships with national payers and policy influencers.
  • Lead pricing discussions, access negotiations, and formulary committee engagements.
  • Develop tailored payer-value communications supported by clinical-economic evidence.

Market Intelligence & Policy Monitoring

  • Track regulatory updates, access guidelines, pricing rules, and oncology policy changes.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence on pricing, tenders, formulary presence, and new products.
  • Prepare monthly strategic access reports for senior leadership.

Dossier Development & Access Documentation

  • Lead development of pricing, reimbursement, tender, and formulary dossiers.
  • Maintain centralized archives of access submissions with outcomes and timelines.

Launch Excellence & Execution Tracking

  • Support Commercial and Marketing teams with institutional mapping and access insights.
  • Monitor KPIs including time-to-listing, tender win rate, and reimbursement success.
  • Ensure all access activities comply with national regulations and internal policies.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy

Experience:

  • 35 years in Market Access (institutional/public sector), preferably in oncology

  • Communication and Negotiation Skills.
