About the Role:
The Market Intelligence Sr. Analyst plays a critical role in shaping business strategy by delivering actionable insights on markets, competitors, customers, and trends. This position combines analytical rigor with strategic thinking to inform decision-making across the organization. It also requires the analyst to be flexible and versatile, and ready to take on diverse responsibilities as situations evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute research plans (surveys, interviews, secondary sources) to collect data on industry dynamics, customer needs, competitors, and emerging trends.
- Perform in-depth competitive analysis, mapping competitor offerings, pricing, market share, and strategic initiatives to identify opportunities and threats.
- Monitor macroeconomic and micro market trends, technological shifts, and regulatory developments.
- Build scenario models to project potential market evolutions and assess implications for the business.
- Develop clear, compelling deliverables including PowerPoint decks, executive briefings, and BI dashboards to guide strategic and investment decisions.
- Maintain a centralized intelligence repository with up-to-date market reports, competitor profiles, and key data sources for easy organizational access.
- Partner with Strategy, Sales, and Product teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations on positioning, pricing, and market entry.
- Support workshops and strategic planning sessions with relevant market intelligence.
- Continuously refine research approaches by evaluating and implementing new tools, analytics methods, and distribution channels to enhance insight quality and delivery speed.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. (Master degree is preferred).
Experience:
- +4 years in market intelligence, strategic analysis, business analytics, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills with hands-on experience designing studies and synthesizing complex data.
- Expertise in competitive intelligence, market modeling, and scenario planning.
- Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and Excel for data analysis and visualization.
