Overall Purpose of the Job:
The post holder will support all Marketing, Corporate & Government Relations, and Recruitment activities for The University of Manchester- Dubai. This includes supporting the Global MBA and all other University programmes offered in the region.
The role contributes directly to brand-building, lead generation, corporate engagement, and student recruitment by developing, implementing, and evaluating marketing strategies and activities. Responsibilities include managing marketing operations, events, sponsorships, memberships, and corporate/government partnerships, ensuring alignment with the University's brand, standards, and long-term strategic objectives.
The post holder will work closely with internal teams, external agencies, professors, corporates, alumni, recruitment partners, and key regional stakeholders. They will also support data-driven decision-making through detailed reporting, CRM insights, and performance analysis. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required to support major events and branch wide initiatives
Marketing Operations & Event Management
Coordinate the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing and recruitment events.
Coordinate sponsorship deliverables, membership benefits, and partner obligations.
Work closely with professors and academic teams to support STPs and corporate masterclasses.
Oversee registrations and event logistics through Eventbrite, Zoom, Teams, and similar platforms.
Represent the Branch at recruitment fairs, corporate engagements, and public events.
Support both online and onsite delivery of information sessions, masterclasses, and webinars.
Manage relationships with vendors, agencies, and marketing partners.
Corporate & Stakeholder Relations
Build and manage a high-level network of government contacts (ministries, regulators, and public entities) to support business development and brand visibility.
Support strategic corporate/government relationships with STPs, alumni, recruitment partners, and key industry stakeholders.
Participate in corporate/government visits and support delivery of presentations, masterclasses, and information sessions.
Identify opportunities for marketing collaborations with corporate partners and alumni.
Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts and assist in exploring new corporate engagement opportunities.
Represent the University at networking events, community engagements, and professional gatherings.
Draft and manage MoUs, renewals, contracts, and related documentation.
Prepare and submit monthly corporate updates, event reports, and follow-up summaries.
To keep a log of corporate business and government partners and grow the database and manage all data-related history and queries
Lead Generations, Recruitment Support & Customer Service
Support lead-generation initiatives and recruitment campaigns across all platforms.
Monitor, track, and analyse leads generated from events, digital marketing activities, and partner channels.
Counsel prospective students from corporates/governments, follow up on applications, and maintain an organised recruitment pipeline.
Provide accurate programme information to enquiries generated from marketing activities.
Collaborate with the recruitment team to improve conversion rates and streamline applicant experience.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Analyse CRM data and marketing automation insights to support strategic planning.
Monitor performance across digital platforms, including ClickDimensions, social channels, and event platforms.
Produce regular ROI reports, dashboards, and performance summaries.
Enhance data quality through improved processes, standardisation tools, and efficient reporting systems.
Maintain historical datasets to support forecasting and long-term strategy.
Present insights and recommendations to the Marketing Manager, team leaders, and Branch Director.
Conduct competitor and market analysis to support decision-making.
Other Required Duties
Support auditing of systems, processes, and marketing workflows to identify improvements.
Contribute to Branch Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and community engagement.
Assist with photography, videography, and live posting during events when needed.
Provide additional support on Branch-wide projects or activities assigned by the Marketing Manager or Branch Director.
Represent the University consistently with professionalism and adherence to institutional values.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years experience in Marketing, Corporate Relations, or Marketing Operations.
Strong understanding of CRM systems, lead generation, and event-based lead tracking.
Experience managing social media, email marketing, and digital campaigns.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., ClickDimensions).
Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage confidential information in line with data protection requirements.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for events.
Positive attitude, proactive nature, and strong teamwork skills.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Experience executing paid social media campaigns.
Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar.
Experience in video editing and content creation.
Knowledge of inbound marketing, lead generation, and brand awareness strategies.
Outgoing personality with strong relationship-building abilities.
Familiarity with current digital technologies and emerging marketing tools.
