Job Description

MBLM is looking for a commercially minded Business Development & Marketing Manager to help grow our agency, strengthen relationships, and create new opportunities across the UAE and wider region.

MBLM is the Brand Intimacy Agency. We build stronger bonds between people, brands, and technology through brand strategy, digital experiences, AI-powered applications, and emerging 3D technologies.

This role suits someone who understands agency life, enjoys connecting with people, and can move confidently between strategy, outreach, presentations, proposals, and marketing activity. You'll work closely with the Managing Directors, Partners, and discipline leaders to identify opportunities, develop relationships, and win meaningful new business.

Your role

You'll lead the planning and execution of MBLM's business development activity while supporting the agency's marketing initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing MBLM's annual business development plan
  • Contributing to new business strategy, including target markets, industries, client profiles, and revenue goals
  • Identifying prospective clients and relevant opportunities across South Korea/UAE and regional markets
  • Managing the new business pipeline, workflows, and reporting
  • Qualifying opportunities against MBLM's growth strategy and new business criteria
  • Researching prospective clients, their industries, challenges, and business priorities
  • Building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Working with discipline leaders and Managing Directors to create tailored credentials, proposals, points of view, and pitch presentations
  • Coordinating pitch teams, timelines, deliverables, and internal responsibilities
  • Leading presentations, commercial discussions, and fee negotiations
  • Supporting the conversion of opportunities into new client relationships and accounts
  • Attending new client kickoffs and ensuring a smooth transition to the relevant client leadership team
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports covering pipeline activity, opportunities, revenue, and new business performance
  • Supporting the development of MBLM's intellectual capital, tools, case studies, and thought leadership

Marketing responsibilities

You'll also help strengthen MBLM's presence across our target markets by supporting:

  • Thought leadership and content development
  • PR activity and media outreach
  • Industry events, conferences, trade shows, and sponsorships
  • Developing digital marketing plans, social media content calendars, and collaborating with the studio to bring the content to life
  • Direct marketing and email campaigns
  • Presentations, credentials materials, and sales enablement content
  • Promotion of MBLM's software, digital experiences, and technology capabilities
  • Relationship-building activity across relevant business and industry networks
  • Shortlisting, selecting, and submitting MBLM's work to relevant award festivals

  • A fast learner with a positive, collaborative attitude
  • Passionate about branding, marketing, technology, and creating meaningful client relationships
  • Comfortable working independently, with self-initiative to set priorities, follow-through, and guide team members across the agency

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, economics, design management, or a related field
  • 4 to 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in business development, marketing, or growth within a branding, advertising, digital, design, or communications agency
  • Experience managing projects, timelines, proposals, and pitch processes
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Experience using HubSpot or a comparable CRM
  • Existing experience and professional networks in the UAE are highly desirable
  • Preference for candidates currently based in the UAE
