Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within a five-star luxury hotel or resort, with a focus on Marketing and Public Relations.
- Strong understanding of luxury brand positioning and consumer behavior.
- Expertise in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong network within the media, PR, and influencer community.
- Experience with marketing analytics, SEO, and paid media strategies.
- Ability to manage budgets and optimize marketing spend.
- Multilingual skills are preferred but not mandatory.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to position the resort as a premier luxury destination.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, advertisements, and digital platforms.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality promotional content, including brochures, social media posts, and email campaigns.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and guest preferences to refine marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Perform assigned duties efficiently and effectively, while undertaking any other reasonable tasks assigned by management that are within the scope of the role.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and travel journalists to enhance brand awareness.
- Write and distribute press releases, news articles, and brand stories for luxury travel publications.
- Act as the resort's spokesperson when required, managing media interviews and public appearances.
- Organize press trips, media events, and influencer collaborations to generate positive PR coverage.
- Plan and execute promotional events, brand activations, and corporate hospitality experiences.
- Develop strategic partnerships with luxury brands, travel agencies, and corporate organizations to drive business.
- Collaborate with tourism boards, hospitality organizations, and influencers to enhance the resort's exposure.
- Support the Sales team in organizing MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events and FAM (Familiarization) trips.
- Monitor guest feedback across review platforms such as TripAdvisor and Google Reviews, and respond professionally.
- Manage crisis communication initiatives to protect the resort's reputation in the event of negative publicity or guest-related issues.
- Work closely with the Guest Relations and Operations teams to ensure brand excellence throughout the guest experience.
