Role Description The Marketing Communications Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for developing and executing communication initiatives that support BillQode's brand and products. Day-to-day tasks include creating marketing content for digital and print channels, drafting press releases and announcements, and supporting public relations activities to increase brand visibility in the hospitality and technology sectors. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to align messaging, preparing communication materials for campaigns and events, and monitoring the performance of communication efforts. The specialist will also help maintain consistent brand voice, manage media outreach, and assist in developing strategic communication plans that engage restaurant and café partners.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Marketing Communications and Strategic Communications to plan and deliver effective messaging across multiple channels.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills and experience creating Press Releases that are clear, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Public Relations, including media outreach, relationship building, and supporting PR campaigns and events.
- Relevant experience in marketing or communications within technology, SaaS, or hospitality industries is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to write and edit in en_US with attention to detail, consistency, and brand tone.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency with common digital marketing and communication tools (e.g., social media platforms, email marketing, basic analytics) is an advantage.
