The Role
We're building the #1 brand in Cloud, Security, and AI Engineering education. Our founder films 2-3 YouTube videos per week, daily reels/shorts, and runs a paid academy with hundreds of students.
You will own the entire content operation from the moment a video is filmed to the moment it's live on every platform and performing. You are the system builder who turns raw footage into a content machine.
What You'll Own
Content Pipeline (Core)
- Manage the end-to-end content workflow: filmed → edited → approved → scheduled → published
- Coordinate with long-form editor, short-form editor, and designer
- Build and maintain the editorial calendar across YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Shorts
- Ensure upload cadence is met: 2-3 long-form/week, 1 short/day, daily LinkedIn, daily IG
Repurposing & Distribution
- Take 1 long-form YouTube video and turn it into 5-10 pieces of content across platforms
- Write or oversee captions, titles, descriptions, and hashtags (SEO-optimised)
- Create thumbnail briefs for designer
- Clip key moments from academy calls and podcasts for social content
Team Coordination
- Manage editors (long-form + short-form) - briefs, deadlines, quality control
- Work with designer on carousels, thumbnails, stories
- Work with creative director on content strategy and direction
- Work with EA on scheduling and publishing
Performance & Growth
- Track content performance weekly: views, CTR, watch time, follower growth, engagement
- Identify what's working and double down
- Research competitors and trending content formats
- Recommend content ideas based on data and audience demand
You Are
- Obsessively organised. You live in spreadsheets, calendars, and project management tools. Nothing slips.
- A content native. You understand YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. You know what performs and why.
- A fast executor. You don't wait to be told. You see a gap, you fill it.
- Comfortable managing freelancers. You can brief editors, review cuts, give feedback, and hold deadlines.
- Data-driven. You track performance and make decisions based on numbers, not vibes.
Requirements
- 2+ years managing content operations for a creator, brand, or media company
- Experience managing editors and freelancers
- Proficiency with: YouTube Studio, Instagram Business, LinkedIn, scheduling tools, Google Sheets, project management (Notion/Linear/Jira)
- Strong writing skills for captions, titles, descriptions
- Understanding of short-form content trends and formats
Bonus
- Experience in tech/education/SaaS content
- Understanding of content-to-community funnels (YouTube → Skool → paid programs)
- Experience with AI tools for content repurposing
- Video editing skills (even basic) to give better feedback to editors
