Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Marketing & Communications team. This role focuses on processing payments, raising purchase requests, tracking invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth coordination of day-to-day marketing activities. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with SAP, Excel, and internal systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and track marketing-related payments through SAP.
- Raise purchase requests and purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
- Monitor invoice processing and follow up with suppliers and the Finance team to ensure timely payment.
- Maintain accurate records of marketing expenditures, budgets, and supporting documentation.
- Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of marketing databases, reports, and trackers.
- Coordinate administrative activities for marketing campaigns, events, and promotional initiatives.
- Liaise with suppliers, agencies, and internal stakeholders regarding quotations, invoices, and purchase requests.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on marketing expenses and outstanding payments.
- Maintain organized filing systems for contracts, invoices, and marketing documents.
- Support the Marketing & Communications team with general administrative and coordination duties.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Assist with any additional projects and responsibilities assigned by the Marketing Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, marketing support, or finance support role.
- Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience handling invoices, payments, purchase orders, and budget tracking is an advantage.
