The Marketing Director's responsibilities include providing direction, guidance, inspiration and leadership to the team and its portfolio, ensuring activities with exponential standards are delivered on time and within budget to maximize opportunities, revenues, profits and market share.
You will work cross-functionally to understand marketing needs, act as the company brand ambassador to external sources and drive revenue growth through successful marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- To direct and manage the Marketing team in Exhibitions.
- To strategize implement the integrated marketing and communications and creative management plans
- Directly manage assigned events in full.
- Manage and determine the responsibilities of the directly manage assigned events in full Marketing Managers
- Work with the project directors and managers to devise and implement strategies, policies and procedures for marketing & communications activities for the Exhibition Dept and its portfolio of exhibitions.
- Create and develop innovative marketing campaigns, tools and activities.
- Undertake the development and production of all marketing and creative collateral in conjunction with Exhibitions Directors and Managers across range of regional a international exhibitions from the company portfolio.
- Develop, supervise and manage tactical marketing and creative PR campaigns to support the exhibitions strategies and achieve specific business objectives.
- Work with the Exhibitions Directors and Managers to develop the shows through database building, research and enhanced exhibition offerings e.g. conference programmes, gala dinners, awards ceremony's
- Develop and research new show ideas and markets
- Research and develop dedicated Data management procedures for the whole department
- Manage exhibition onsite activities including press conferences, press days and media centres
- Ensure the identity guidelines are adhered to by internal departments and external agencies
- Developing and implementing strategies from ideas to grow revenue
- Leading the communication design, interactive design, and concept forward in any work assigned.
- Responsible for the quality of the final creative work
Requirements:
- Minimum 7-10 years experience in Marketing, preferably with marketing experience in
- the exhibitions organising industry
- Wide exposure to marketing related practices and precedents
