Grandiose is a home-grown Retail chain giving its customers a different experience for shopping and dining in the UAE. The fast-growing dynamic business is looking for Marketing Executive for its food business vertical.
Job Summary:
The Marketing Executive plays a key role in supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns, in-store promotions, and point-of-sale (POS) initiatives across the Grandiose supermarket network. Reporting to the Brand Manager, this role ensures that brand awareness is build, and footfall and sales growing by proving on time execution of campaigns, aligned with brand tone of voice (TOV). The Marketing Executive works closely with cross-functional teams (CFT) and external partners. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding and brand/retail marketing, UAE market dynamics and consumer behaviour with experience in digital and traditional channels. He/She is results driven, has strong initiative, analytical & problem solving skills and a drive to make things happen.
Key Responsibilities:
1: Campaign Planning & Briefing:
- Assist in the development of marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, footfall and sales in line with the overall initiative plan. Prepare and manage campaign briefs using the CFT document, ensuring alignment across departments.
- Coordinate and run CFT meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and align stakeholders.
- Maintain the initiative calendar to ensure campaigns and activations are launched on time and deliver against business objectives.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and locations.
2: In-Store POS Execution & Monitoring:
- Coordinate with internal parties and suppliers the production, delivery, and installation of POS materials (signage, displays, banners, digital screens).
- Conduct regular in-store checks to monitor execution quality, compliance with brand guidelines, and timely placement of POS deliverables.
- Collect and report feedback from stores on POS effectiveness, customer engagement, and sales impact.
- Ensure in-store promotional activities and POS assets consistently reflect the brand's tone of voice (TOV).
3: Coordination of Promotional Activities:
- Support the Brand Manager in organizing in-store promotions, demonstrations, and events.
- Work with store managers, merchandising, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution at store level.
- Track and report performance of promotional activities, including sales uplift and customer engagement.
4: Digital & Content Support:
- Assist in creating content for digital platforms (social media, website, email marketing).
- Monitor social media engagement and respond to customer inquiries where required.
- Ensure brand TOV is consistently applied across all digital and offline marketing touchpoints.
5: Market Research & Analysis:
- Gather insights on customer behavior, competitor activities, and market trends to support data-driven marketing decisions.
- Monitor competitor POS and campaign strategies, reporting opportunities and threats.
6: Brand and Content Management:
- Support in maintaining brand consistency across all marketing communications and POS materials.
- Update and organize digital libraries of creative assets for easy team access.
7: Budget Tracking and Reporting:
- Assist in monitoring campaign and POS-related budgets.
- Provide reports on expenditures, ROI, KPIs, and campaign performance.
8: Communication & Collaboration:
- Liaise with agencies, media outlets, suppliers and influencers as needed.
- Ensure effective, transparent, and timely collaboration across departments.
- Facilitate clear communication between internal teams and external partners (agencies, vendors, designers).
9: Creative Input and Idea Generation:
- Contribute new ideas for POS, activations, digital campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Participate in team brainstorming sessions to support continuous innovation.
10: Performance Monitoring:
- Analyze campaign performance and prepare reports with actionable insights to drive business results.
- Monitor KPIs (sales uplift, campaign ROI, POS compliance, engagement metrics) to track impact of initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing (or related field)
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant marketing experience from FMCG/F&B or Luxury Retail Industry
- Experience in campaign coordination, POS execution, and cross-functional collaboration within retail or FMCG. - Familiarity with digital marketing, content creation, and brand management.
