Simon Welsh Performance Coaching is a Dubai-based executive coaching practice focused
on helping high-performing leaders succeed without burning out, losing their health, or
becoming disconnected from who they are.
Founded by Simon Welsh - an Executive Performance Coach and Coaching Psychologist
with over 25 years of senior leadership experience - the practice integrates coaching
psychology, behavioural science, and real-world leadership experience. The work centres on
identity, purpose, mental energy, resilience, and sustainable performance.
Alongside 1:1 executive coaching, the business produces thought leadership content, digital
resources, and structured coaching programmes designed to translate psychology into
practical, real-world impact for senior leaders.
Job Context
This internship is a non-client-facing role designed for an enrolled Undergraduate or
Postgraduate student in ANY Marketing/Business-related field who wants hands-on
experience within a modern, values-led coaching business.
You will work closely with the founder to support content creation, brand communication,
digital marketing systems, appointment setting, and non-client-facing operations. The role
sits at the intersection of content, systems, and execution - helping turn high-quality ideas
into consistent, professional outputs.
This is not a passive or observational internship. You will be trusted with responsibility,
supported through regular check-ins, and expected to work with care, accuracy, and initiative.
Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support the execution and amplification of the brand.
You will:
Help translate insights and ideas into clear, engaging content
Maintain consistency across platforms and assets
Support marketing systems, workflows, and user journeys
Support in the build-out of automations and communications
This role suits someone who is highly creative, who enjoys working with structure, and who
takes pride in ensuring systems run smoothly.

Tools & Platforms
You will gain hands-on experience using a modern marketing and content stack, including:
Canva (essential)
GoHighLevel (CRM, workflows, funnels, scheduling)
Descript (video and audio editing)
Captions.ai (captioning and short-form video optimisation)
Meta Business Suite (content scheduling and performance tracking)
Experience with any of these tools is a bonus.
Comfort using Canva is required.
Training and guidance will be provided for tools you have not used before.

Eligibility Requirements
Must be resident in Dubai, enrolled in a university programme, and hold a valid visa
permitting internship in the UAE.

By the end of the internship, you will have experience in:
End-to-end content creation and scheduling

Digital marketing systems and workflows
CRM and appointment-setting processes
Funnel testing and user journey optimisation
Understanding professional communication boundaries within a coaching business
Working inside a purpose-led coaching business
Skills & Attributes Required
Strong written communication skills
Comfortable generating ideas, testing them in practice, and learning from what
doesn't land.
Uses AI tools responsibly and critically, with a clear understanding of their
limitations.
Confident use of Canva for content creation and formatting
Familiarity with social platforms and digital workflows
Experience with GoHighLevel, Descript, Captions.ai, or Meta Business Suite is a
bonus
Organised, reliable, and proactive working style
High attention to detail
Willingness to learn new tools and adapt quickly
Structure, Support & Supervision
Minimum of 15 hours per week (flexible to fit academic commitments)
Hybrid / remote working (within Dubai)
Regular supervision and feedback sessions
Clear tasks, expectations, and learning objectives
