Marketing Lead Middle East, North Africa & Pakistan

Location: Dubai, UAE (Hybrid)

About the Team

The regional marketing team focuses on expanding a global creative platform's presence across the Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan (MENAP). The team works cross-functionally with Product, Brand, PR/Communications, Partnerships, Education, Creator/Community, and Sales to execute culturally relevant marketing strategies that drive brand growth and product adoption.

About the Role

The Growth Marketing Lead for MENAP will lead integrated marketing and brand programs across the region. The role involves developing regional narratives, executing high-impact campaigns with lean resources, and building strategic partnerships to expand reach.

This position collaborates closely with global marketing leadership to share best practices, coordinate multi-country initiatives, and adapt global strategies to local markets.

Primary objectives include increasing regional brand awareness and product adoption through PR, creator and influencer collaborations, social and content marketing, community engagement, partnerships, events, and lifecycle/CRM programs. Paid media may be used to amplify campaigns when required.

Success will be measured through brand metrics (awareness, share of voice), organic growth indicators (sign-ups, monthly active users), and campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional brand and marketing strategies, including country-specific playbooks.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels including PR, social media, content, creators/influencers, community initiatives, partnerships, events, and CRM.
  • Lead major national and multi-country campaign launches, ensuring localization and cultural relevance.
  • Generate earned media opportunities through PR, social storytelling, creator campaigns, and grassroots community programs.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with platforms, telecommunications companies, marketplaces, educational institutions, public-sector organizations, media networks, and creator communities.
  • Build and manage a small regional marketing team and coordinate with agencies and freelance partners.
  • Define and track marketing KPIs related to brand health, campaign impact, and organic user growth.
  • Develop scalable marketing playbooks and frameworks that can be replicated across MENAP markets.
  • Represent regional marketing initiatives internally and externally, sharing market insights with global teams.
  • Manage budgets, set priorities, and ensure efficient campaign execution.

Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years of experience in brand, integrated, or go-to-market marketing, ideally within startup or scale-up environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale national or international marketing campaigns.
  • Proven ability to build brand awareness with limited budgets through creative campaigns, partnerships, and earned media.
  • Experience marketing across multiple MENAP countries with strong cultural understanding of the region.
  • Data-driven approach to marketing measurement, including brand metrics and marketing attribution basics.
  • Experience building and managing high-performing teams and working with agencies, creators, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills in English; additional regional languages (e.g., Arabic or Urdu) are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required.
