Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager with a strong background in Retail Sports

Brands. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of sports retail (sportswear, footwear,

performance apparel) and a proven ability to drive brand growth in a multi-store retail environment.

The role requires a dynamic leader who is passionate about sports and retail marketing, with strong

strategic and execution capabilities.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies specifically tailored for retail sports brands to enhance brand visibility and market share.
  • Identify target markets and customer demographics within the sports retail segment and align marketing initiatives accordingly.
  • Lead brand positioning and ensure consistent brand identity across all retail touchpoints and marketing channels.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, in-store, traditional advertising, and events.
  • Manage and execute product launches for sportswear, footwear, and performance products in coordination with buying, merchandising, and retail teams.
  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, influencer collaborations, email marketing, and performance marketing.
  • Analyze campaign performance, digital metrics, and retail KPIs to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Conduct market and competitor research within the sports retail industry to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage collaborations with influencers, athletes, sports communities, and brand partners.
  • Plan and coordinate brand events, activations, and retail-driven campaigns to increase footfall and consumer engagement.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and ROI.
  • Coordinate with PR agencies to manage media relations, press releases, and brand communications.

Minimum Qualification Required:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing or a related field.

Experience:

810+ years of marketing experience with mandatory exposure to Retail Sports Brands.

Experience working with multi-store retail formats is essential.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Attributes:

Mandatory experience in Retail Sports Brands (sportswear, footwear, performance or athletic

apparel).

Strong understanding of retail marketing within the Middle East region.

Proven ability to develop and execute retail-focused marketing strategies.

Hands-on experience managing media and PR agencies.

Strong experience in identifying, onboarding, and managing social media influencers.

Solid understanding of digital marketing and performance-driven campaigns.

Experience managing marketing budgets and vendor negotiations.

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Strong product knowledge and commercial acumen within sports retail.

High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
