Job Description

Overview:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering the Company's marketing and external communications in a manner that is fair, clear, and compliant with VARA regulatory standards.

The role ensures marketing campaigns, website content, social media activity, public statements, and event materials are accurate, approved, and aligned with internal controls, target audiences, and regulatory disclosures.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives, campaigns, events, and communication plans consistent with strategy and regulatory boundaries
  • Ensure all marketing and promotional materials undergo required internal review and approval before publication
  • Maintain accuracy, balance, and compliance with risk disclosures, regulatory status, and product descriptions
  • Govern website, digital content, and social media updates with proper review and evidence of approval
  • Coordinate with Compliance and Legal to target only permitted audiences and jurisdictions
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging, terminology, disclaimers, and product descriptions across channels
  • Support preparation of media statements, announcements, and event materials with Compliance and Legal oversight
  • Maintain a complete archive of approved marketing materials, approvals, publication dates, and withdrawal history
  • Escalate potential misleading communications, unapproved statements, or conduct concerns promptly
  • Manage external agencies and vendors under approved briefs, ensuring compliance with internal approval processes
  • Track client and market feedback on communications, coordinating updates where required
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Compliance, Legal, and Operations to ensure messaging aligns with actual capabilities and regulatory positioning

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, brand, or campaign management
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, securities, or virtual assets strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with controlled approval environments for regulated communications is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of digital content management, campaign workflows, and communication governance
