Job Description

Role Purpose:

This role is for Pizza Hut and will be based in Riyadh, Saudi. The purpose of this role is to excite and delight consumers by bringing impactful marketing to life. You will lead brand strategy implementation, drive key marketing programs, manage country‑level marketing activities, optimize budgets for maximum ROI, translate data into actionable insights, build strong internal and external partnerships, and lead a high‑performing team.

Brand Strategy Implementation

  • Build brand affinity in the market through a strong understanding of consumer behavior and current trends.
  • Identify key growth pillars and develop annual marketing plans aligned with the annual operating plan.

Marketing Campaigns & Key Programs

  • Implement marketing initiatives in line with annual market development plans.
  • Develop communication plans, promotions, and activations, ensuring smooth and timely execution.
  • Drive effective media strategies focused on maximizing ROI.
  • Coordinate closely with Brand Marketing and Operations to ensure campaigns are aligned and executed properly.
  • Ensure high‑quality execution of regional campaigns at store level and across on‑ground and digital channels.
  • Track campaign performance and clearly communicate insights, learnings, and next steps.

Country-Level Marketing Management

  • Act as the S&OP Brand Leader, supporting forecast accuracy, managing cannibalization, and executing boost plans.
  • Monitor pricing windows and track government pricing regulations.
  • Manage and control the local marketing budget.
  • Develop a comprehensive LSM playbook informed by local insights (key dates, consumer groups, events, profitability, menu costing).
  • Ensure new store opening activation plans are properly implemented.
  • Oversee the local rollout of marketing and delivery campaigns.
  • Manage the local social media calendar, ensuring relevance to local occasions and trends.

Insights & Data

  • Recommend actions and contingencies based on business, market, and consumer analysis.
  • Stay updated on global and local market trends and competitor developments.
  • Contribute insights to brand and innovation planning.
  • Track competition across LTOs, pricing, LFL sales, and store openings.
  • Represent the consumer voice across the organization.

Budget & ROI

  • Plan, manage, and monitor the marketing budget with an efficiency mindset.
  • Ensure timely budget approvals and commitments.
  • Allocate budgets by activity and media channel, with a focus on digital.

Off‑Premises (Delivery)

  • Develop delivery strategies and optimize menus by channel (own assets vs. aggregators).
  • Support curbside and car‑hop initiatives to grow traffic.
  • Drive CRM and segmentation to retain and re‑engage customers.
  • Utilize VOC tools to capture consumer feedback and insights.
  • Lead digital media planning and optimization.

Stakeholder & Agency Management

  • Set clear goals, objectives, and strategies for all marketing tasks and projects.
  • Partner with key stakeholders (delivery, supply chain, tech, development, call center, etc.).
  • Co‑manage agencies and vendors to tailor content, LTOs, and engagement plans to local customer needs.

People Leadership

  • Build and develop a high‑performing, cross‑functional marketing team.
  • Ensure effective onboarding and continuous engagement of team members.
  • Lead regular performance and development reviews.

Experience, Qualification & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital, sales, or related field.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • 8–10 years of marketing experience in the QSR industry (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of the Saudi market, consumer behavior, and pricing dynamics.
  • Hands‑on digital experience, including strategy development and execution.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proven cross‑functional collaboration and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment.

Note: The role requires regular travel within KSA and occasional international travel.
